The Three Major Races

The Race of Man
|
This is one of the most difficult races to guage. The characteristics of the race of man are the following: taller than average, slightly stocky, long legs, brown or black hair (although they may have any hair colors), most of strength concentrated in the upper body, and brown or blue eyes. Their mindset is usually neutral (neither optimistic nor pessimistic). They have little knowledge or concern beyond that which they see or touch or taste. They are extremely grounded in the physical world, although they have un recognized potential for otherworldly actions. The males and females have very little differences...other than the obvious. They get along well with all races aside from the dragons. They also have a mild distaste for gnomes (having been swindled by them enough times). Unlike the other races they are in constant change.

The Elfish (or Elven if you prefer) breed are an interesting lot. They are usually slightly smaller than the race of man, and they have a very slight build. Their bodies are usually proportioned nicely, they tend to have blond or raven hair, and they generally have blue, green, violet, or hazel eyes. They have pronouned facial features; most noticably the high cheek bone, long nose, elongated ears, and jawline (these are not as noticable as you might expect, although pronounced they are also very soft, a subtle pronounciation). They are greatly in tune with the natural forces of the universe; they are usually devotely religious, wicca, or astrologists and the like. They are very open, but they all have something deep to hide. They have a remarkable effect on the world we can see and the world we can't. They seem to be luckier than most and narrowly avoid situations that most could not escape. They are good with plants and animals, and tend to be able to communicate a point to them without effort. They also seem to have a sense of premenition. Everything about them and their culture is light; their forms, their art, and their music. The only exception would be their wine. They could drink both an Austrailian and an Italian under the table...under most circumstances. The females are more metaphysical than the males. They tend to be more open and understanding. The males, however, come off as being harsh. They are suspicious as a rule and tend to be impatient. The males also have a characteristic the females don't, they have a chisled brow which is very adept at scowling. They are closely related to the dragon race, the fairy race, and the human race. However they are not quite so friendly with the dwarves.

The Race of Dwarves
|
The dwarfish race is very old and esteemed. Their characteristics are usually very apparent. They are very short and stocky, their legs are very short, they have slightly elongated ears, usually brown or black eyes, they have a short nose, a wide mouth, and red or brown hair (which tends to go grey earlier than most). The males tend to have very wide shoulders and are built like rocks, very muscular. They also tend to be very hairy. The females generally have large breasts and are not quite as stocky, they are more proportioned (aside from the bust). They are also built tough, they can take as much or more punishment as males or females of any other race (aside from the dragons). As a whole, the dwarven race is not overly mystical, but they can easily recognize that which cannot be seen. They are very confrontational with the Elves, but will quickly recognize their talents. They have no qualms with the race of man, and often are business partners. They are closely related to the dragons, yet tend to clash with each other to the point of warfare. Although it is not uncommon for a person decended from the dragons and one decended from the dwarves to pair with each other. They are also close to hobbits and gnomes. They are extremely good craftsmen and can make everything from fishhooks to jewlry to weapons.
